Sinusitis is an inflammation of the mucous membrane coating of the sinus cavities. In most cases, an infection of the nasal cavity (rhinitis) with swelling of the mucosa and consequent obstruction of the nose and sinuses are the initiating factors. Allergic reactions of the mucous membrane accompanied by the formation of polyps, frequently contribute to the development of sinusitis. A humid, damp and cold climate, large temperature fluctuations, and heavy air pollution can contribute to the development of sinus infections. A. Vogel Sinus Relief acts on symptoms of nasal congestion and pressure, sinus congestion, inflamed sinuses, sinus headaches.

approx. 250 mg lactose per tablet

Dosage

Tablets: Place 2 tablets under the tongue 3 daily, 15 minutes before eating. Allow to slowly dissolve in the mouth. In acute cases take hourly, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs. Or as directed by a physician.

Children: Half the adult dose and/or consult a doctor.

Precautions, contraindications and interactions

There is no known interactions with homeopathic products. Contraindication: no allergy to any one of the ingredients.

Mode of Actions and Pharmacology

Hydrastis canadensis 6X

Excellent effect in cases of purulent paranasal sinus infections. Even chronic colds of the upper respiratory tract are positively affected.

Kali bichromicum 6X

Has a positive effect on chronic rhinitis and inflammations of the frontal and other nasal sinuses.

Lemna minor 4X

Clears stuffy noses if edematous swelling or nasal polyps are present. It is effective in cases of dry as well as mucous conditions. The nasal secretion is normalized.

Luffa operculata 6X

Helps the mucous membranes of the nose, the throat, and the paranasal sinuses. Luffa brings excellent results in cases of head colds of a suppurative as well as allergic character, with a tendency to either a runny or stuffy nose. Also, dry irritating conditions of the nose, as in atrophic rhinitis, are eliminated.

Mercurius sulphuratus ruber 8X (Cinnabar)

This naturally occurring mineral has a specific effect on the sub-acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinus cavities and the mucous membranes of the nose.
