I do not know of any breeders, however you might want to buy FERRETS magazine, it gives a list of breeders and perhaps you will be able to find one in your state, or call one for a reference.

You would be much better going to a RESCUE/SHELTER in your area and taking a look at all the ferrets needing homes! This way you would be able to learn more about them, their health problems, personalities and the financial expense involved, plus the long term commitment. Ferrets are much like people emotionally and therefore require a lot of time and attention.

Go to: www.miamiferret.org once there go to STAR, here you should be able to locate a RESCUE in your area, they usually are very helpful and can give you a great deal of insight, before buying.
